Boutiques & Bars in Nashville owned by Celebrities

Last week I chatted about our stay at The Waverly in 12 South and what trip to the 12 South neighborhood would be complete without a stop at Draper James? You know the swoon-worthy storefront with the blue and white bricks? The blue and white awning over the little white bench with the blue and white checkered background? Does the movie quote, “So I can kiss you anytime I want” ring a bell? Sweet Alabama. Reese Witherspoon.

Draper James is Reese Witherspoon’s boutique in Nashville that aims to “bring contemporary, yet timeless Southern style to your wardrobe and your home, no matter where you live” per the Southern belle. She opened the store in remembrance of her grandparents and to honor her Southern heritage. “Be charming if you can; witty if you must. But always have grace” -you can read all about the backstory here!

You can bet I pulled my husband’s hand all the way down the street to get here. *I earn a small commission from the purchases made via the affiliate links in this post -thank you for supporting me!

Walking towards the store -it’s just up the street on the left corner!

When he saw the wall, he said “you want a picture here?” “You could get a picture in front of a wall in Champaign.” Yeah, honey -but not THIS wall. If I had been a on a girl’s trip, I think it would have been much more appreciated, but nevertheless, I got my picture and wandered through Southern charm from wall to wall in Reese’s store. Had we not been on a time crunch to make the CMT Awards (and if Ben hadn’t been sweating so bad), we would have walked to White’s Mercantile as well, conveniently located in the 12 South area too.
